Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: June 17, 2026
You can ask Fanthem to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This page explains what we delete and how to request it.
What gets deleted
On request, we delete your contact details (name, email address, phone number), your message history, and your membership in any artist lists you joined through Fanthem. We may retain a minimal record — such as a hashed identifier — only where needed to honor a prior opt-out or to meet a legal obligation, and never to keep contacting you.
This also covers any message you have sent us through our contact form. Those messages are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted automatically, but you can ask us to remove yours sooner using the same request below.
The fastest way: opt out yourself
- Email lists — click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message to leave that artist’s list immediately.
- Text / WhatsApp — reply STOP to opt out of further messages.
Opting out stops the messages. To also have your stored data deleted, send a request as described below.
Request full deletion
Email team@fanthem.fm with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address or phone number you signed up with, and tell us:
- The email address and/or phone number to delete.
- The artist or list you joined, if you know it.
We use these details to confirm the request is really yours before we act on it.
How long it takes
We confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days, and sooner where practical. If anything must be retained for legal or anti-abuse reasons, we’ll tell you what and why.
